To become a successful, fluent reader your child needs to have a strong phonemic awareness and be taught phonics in an explicit and systematic way. They also need ample of practice time applying what they learn while getting specific feedback and support.
That is why I am excited to host group classes!
We will improve the skills needed to be a strong reader and will learn to transfer those skills to reading in "REAL" reading.
We can do all of this without highly relying on all of the rules, because for many students this causes too much of a cognitive overload.
